Timetable
Post-16 students follow a different timetable to our younger students.
Student's lessons are in 'blocks' of lessons within the hours of the normal school day, meaning they may only have one or two subjects in one day, providing intense focus and time to that subject on a regular basis.
All students will have non-contact, private study periods where they have the opportunity to utilise the facilities in the Post-16 Centre to continue their study or revise for exams for example.
Select Year 13 students are permitted to have private study at home, meaning they are allowed to stay at home for their non-contact periods. This is only awarded to certain students that have demonstrated excellent attendance and that they are reaching or exceeding their target grades.
Timetable structure:
8.40am - Lesson 1
10.20am - Break
10.40am - Lesson 1 continues
12.20am - Lunch
12.50am - Lesson 2
3.00pm - Day ends
